It is a wonderful spring and summer for me, full of opportunities to study and share the profound subject of Iyengar Yoga. The last two weekends included workshops with Manouso Manos and Laurie Blakeney, who shared their knowledge with generosity and clarity. I also look forward to the opportunity to do Elise Miller’s Yoga for Scoliosis training this July. It will be wonderful to learn to help myself and my students through more understanding of how to work with the curves the spine.
I would love to see some of my Midwest Association friends at some of my upcoming workshops. I will teach Moving through the Kosas on May 3 in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and Body, Breath and Mind on May 15 and 16 at Harmony Yoga in Ann Arbor, Michigan. August will bring me to Kansas City for a workshop sponsored by Rafael Duran. Information about the Ohio and Michigan workshops can be found on the calendar on this IYAMW web site.
It is certainly a time of reflection as we all continue to come to terms with Guruji BKS Iyengar no longer being with us on this earth. But I know many of us feel his presence within us even more strongly than before. I wish you all peace and success in your practice!
