The Iyengar Yoga community is special here in the Midwest. The IYAMW Annual Retreat was designed to keep the foundation of this community rooted, growing, and sustainable. The goal of the Annual Retreat is to launch practitioners on a journey of inspiration, learning, and friendship within an encouraging community atmosphere.

The IYAMW Annual Retreat is more than a workshop, because time is spent together outside of classes. Meals are shared, breaks are given to explore…to relax…and to meet new friends. This time off the mat builds long lasting friendships, memories, and laughter. We hope that you will meet new friends and gather sparks to ignite your practice and deepen your dedication.

In all of the intricate facets of Iyengar Yoga, profound connections are discovered within the Self and within relationships. The Annual Retreat provides time for creative explorations and social harmony. It is uplifting to share this learning path and to let doors fly open so that unknown territories of deeper studies can be explored. When inspiration is sparked, rejuvenation follows which leads to a cycle of dedication and profound learning.
